Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robot vacuum-mop makes a great option for those living in apartments since it uses an economized docking system and carries its own rubbish bin. Its app allows you to choose different modes and monitor the cleanliness as well as the mopping feature is awe-inspiring.
Its mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance are impressive, as is the fact that it scrubs very well, picking up pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties, cleans itself, and refills its tank.
Roomba from iRobot Combo
The iRobot Combo is an iRobot that can mop and vacuum. The iRobot Combo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It scrubs more, and has a mobile app that is more user-friendly but it's an excellent alternative. It was able to consistently remove dirt from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance may not be as advanced as other systems like LiDAR and structured light, but it can prevent collisions in the majority of cases.
The Combo includes many of the same smarts that the j7 Plus has, such as an the onboard acoustic sensor for determining the floor type and AI-powered Navigation. However, it doesn't have the ability to set suction power by hand. It's also smaller than its vac-only counterpart, and doesn't come with an auto-empty dock.
The Combo is one of my favorite options for homes with a lot of space. Its sleek design is also among the most attractive I've seen. The sleek, matte black plastic looks better than the majority of competitors' glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's small touches--like a leather tab to open the onboard bin and a shelf inside the dock to hold extra bags--are more classy than many of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo also allows you to easily create maps of your home, and to set up Keep-Out Zones, No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.
Roborock
Roborock, a relatively recent player in the robotic mop and vacuum industry, has already established itself by offering innovative cleaning technology. The brand's vacuums feature industry-leading suction, and its mopping systems use vibrating mops to scrub floors of dirt. You can also modify the cleaning process of the bot using a variety and mapping features.
Roborock's obstacle avoidance function allows the robot to see objects that are smaller than its own height. This is especially helpful for the most well-known Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is top of the line in terms of navigation courtesy of both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been known to slam into pet waste and slam furniture without noticing. The Qrevo Master is able to solve this issue by utilizing a Reactive Artificial Intelligence system that makes use of dual cameras to detect the objects within the room.
Roborock robots are equipped with a variety of convenience features to reduce maintenance. They include docks that can be auto-emptied and mop-washing stations with many functions. These features make it unnecessary to empty dustbins or wash mops by hand, allowing to enjoy a hands-free ownership experience. The app is simple to use due to its simple layout and its lag-free communication to the robot.
Hobot Legee D8
With a wide range of integrated cleaning modes and advanced mopping options, the Hobot Legee is among the top robot vacuums/mops for wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system blends five different technologies to design and follow a path that is most efficient. It can also detect different flooring materials and recognise obstacles with precision. It can even lift itself 7mm to glide on carpets. The smart spray system uses the right amount of water to remove staining without leaving ugly water marks.
The Legee is a Gen 4 robot that competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 and Ecovacs Deebot T20, both of which are priced higher. It comes with more features that include a swivel D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets more effectively than a round one. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass), four forward-facing and one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two cliff detectors in the front and back (most robots only have one pair). It also comes with Legee SLAM that minimizes the bump and grind issues that cause problems for Gen 4 Robots.
The Legee is distinct from other robots because it includes a trash compactor and utilizes the more quiet 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi. The LuLu mop washing station is included and is able to wash, refill and dries your mop's 'cloth. This means you can use it for up to six times longer than other mop cloths. It also reduces the amount of waste and frequency at which bins are emptied.
Karcher RCV 5

Karcher is known for its pressure washers and gardening tools has been experimenting with robot vacuums for a long time. This is the most technologically advanced model from the company. Based on LiDAR technology, it creates maps of your home that can be programmed to clean or mop. It can also distinguish between hard floors and carpets to ensure that you don't end up with water puddles on your pile.
Its navigation is top-quality that can avoid furniture and rugs effortlessly and even lifting itself up over steps. The robot can be customised with a variety of settings that include cleaning schedules and which rooms it should clean. It has an 'emergency button' that forces the robot to return home if its power runs out. It can be programmed to turn off automatically if a storm approaches.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, while heavy at almost 4kg, it's hardly difficult to manoeuvre around furniture. Safety features like sensors that warn it to avoid stairs will be appreciated by those with small children. Once charged it takes only several hours to fully charge and the two buttons on top will blink green to indicate it's ready to go.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner is a robot that blends modern technology with affordability. It's a direct competitor to models like the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its lower price tag, the Mova E30 Ultra offers features that many more expensive models can't match. It utilizes sensors to adjust the settings to different flooring and surfaces as well as detect dirtier areas. It also has the ability to move at a slower speed to avoid damaging furniture or walls.
autonomous vacuum can map your home's interior that you can view through the app. You can also mark specific rooms and objects that you want to keep out of the way. The device will slow down when it sees an obstacle and stop from hitting it. It also comes with a smart dustbin that alerts you when it's empty, so you can empty it in time.
The Mova E30 Ultra offers a affordable option for those looking to outsource their cleaning chores. It has dual functionality as a robot vacuum and mop, allowing you to keep your floors spotless without having to lift a finger. It also has a clever design that increases the efficiency of cleaning corners by up to 60%. It comes with a suction capacity of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, and is controlled by the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 an elegant, feature-packed vacuum and mop. It does an excellent job of keeping floors clean and tidy. Although it isn't able to raise its mops on carpets and rugs as the winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors and tackling mopping with a stunning speed. It also has a self-emptying bin that provides an excellent suction power, provides many mopping options and is operated by a high-end app that is compatible with both iOS and Android.
It's a little smaller than the competition and its main brush is smaller but it still managed an impressive job in our test room. The revolving edge brush on the side is a great feature. Although it didn't get rid of dirt as well as other competitors, it performed well.
The robot can be programmed with individual cleaning parameters for each room. It can then create detailed maps using LiDAR's built-in navigation. It's easy to control using the app, and a range of voice output options can keep you informed of the state of your home robot. Regular software updates help improve and extend the capabilities. The application can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're not at home.
